A cyclist posture is compromised by how they straddle a bike, hunched over
the handlebars
;
the spine is in a constant state of flexion contributing to
muscle tension and
imbalance which can lead to back strain

As you travel through one plane, some muscles are repeatedly
fatigued and
others under-developed
causing wearing down of ligaments and tendons,
and developing imbalances.

In order to
achieve overall flexibility and stabilized muscle groups; a rider
needs to incorporate balancing and
counteractive movements to promote
strength in the hyper-flexible areas and
suppleness in the contracted, chronically
tight, overused areas.

This Yoga workshop can assist you in helping to
restore this balance and build
a cyclist's strength, flexibility & endurance....
